Oskar Schindler was a German spy, industrialist, and a member of the nazi party who is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews during the holocaust by employing them in his enamelware and ammunitions factories which were located in occupied Poland and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
Hermine Santruschitz also known as Miep Gies was one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank, her family and four other Jews from the nazis in an annex above Anne's father's business premises during World War II.
